Some Old With The New

Start with the old i spose. I rediscovered this hilarious video of Zach Galifianakis and Will Oldham and now my whole house can't stop singing it. We watched The Hangover for the 100th time yesterday (will it ever get old? i doubt it), forgot it was featured in it. Tuuuuune. . . .

And on with the new:

Firstly the new Foo Fighters song, White Limo. Absolutely brilliant. Not only does it see a return to the guitar heavy, brutal drumming and vocal sound of yesteryear, (dare i say it sounds like something Josh Homme would have worked on, QOTSA & Them Crooked Vultures, see the link? . . . . ), the video also features the bad ass mofo that is Lemmy Kilmister. Enough Said.

Next The Guardian have uploaded the entire Jamie xx (Jamie Smith) remix album of Gil Scott-Heron's I'm New Here just before its release. Catch it here.

And i spose it's about time i uploaded The Strokes first single from their new album Angles. Better late than never right? I've had people tell me they wanted something 'new/fresh sounding from them and that they hate this because it sounds just like 'The Strokes'. . . . .I am sick of the constant need for shitty 'music fans' wanting something new from artists, this record is the band back on top form and the haters can suck my left one. (hard to do since i don't actually have any, i'm a girl stupid).
