Danger Mouse and Daniele Luppi present a spaghetti western inspired album with a little help from Jack White and Norah Jones. If your a Ennio Morricone fan (and who isn't, no really who? Random fact, i'm currently sleeping in my Fistful of Dollars t-shirt, yeah.) you'll love this, they even sample The Good, the Bad and the Ugly soundtrack, enough said. Listen to the whole album over at the The Guardian here.
'Rome' Released 16th May
The second album from 'Tyler, the Creator' after 'Bastard' which, lets face it, was f'n SWWWAAAAG. All the tracks have been leaked already but i've yet to get my ears around all of them. Goblin has sparked a debate among my friends, some saying 'the songs make you feel like cutting yourself' and others 'find it interesting due to it's darkness'. Ah well, each to their own. Personally, i'm In. Love. Released tomorrow/today (by the time i post this).
The 3rd album from 'Wild Beasts' is 'Smother'. I'd heard a couple of their songs last year but it was seeing them live at Reading Fest that made me a fan. 'Albatross' from the album has been a big hit all over the internet, so can't wait to hear what else the Kendal (went there for my 18th, just saying) Lads have to offer.
It's out already, go buy it. . . .
